Jimmy Tasio is owner of the blogg site Diplomatic Food Art. He is presently working for the Orsa municipality where he is  developing the local cuisine served to the elderly.  Before coming to Orsa, Jimmy worked as the Swedish embassy chef in Lisbon and Dublin.

Mats Ansell is a chef with long experience from working in different restaurants in both Dalarna and Stockholm. In Stockholm he has worked for the celebrity chef Nils-Emil Ahlin. Mats is owner of a consultant chef company where he does consultancy work for local restaurants & hotells in the Dalarna region.

Anna Andersson is a chef with a long experience from the hotell and restaurant bransch.  She is presently working as chef at the Orsa Station Hotell. She has previously been working in Borlänge and at a popular hotell in Tällberg.

Carina is our health expert who resaddle from working with economics to working with health and tour guiding.  Carina is focused on experiencing food by bike. Check out Carina´s Bike safari tour. A great way to see the local food producers in Orsa and taste the local produce

Me: I founded the Food Trekkers travel company which was born out of an interest for cooking and people. I studied food science and technology at UCC in Ireland after which I moved to Sweden to work at the national food administration (Livsmedelsverket) in Uppsala. My dream is to introduce people to each other and to Scandinavia through cooking. Hope you enjoy the experience!
