Christmas in Sweden is a really cozy affair. The food, the mulled wine, the lights and of coarse the cold dark winter makes it really something to experience.
In this christmas culinary course, you will embark on an adventure into the dark and cold Scandinavian winter. A christmas culinary adventure that will open new doors to flavors and techniques topped with a taste of Swedish christmas. The only qualifications needed are a love for food and the desire to learn about cooking. The course gets its inspiration from the Swedish christmas (Jul) with tastes and smells from the famous christmas table`Julbord´.
You will be learning how to make a Swedish christmas table including the Janssons Temptation, mulled wine, meatballs, beatroot salad, cured salmon, pickled herring, crisp bread, saffron buns and ginger bread biscuits. The course focuses on using local raw materials to create the amazing flavours of christmas. Our chefs have the expertise and will provide you with the hands-on opportunity to develop your christmas culinary skills. You will be learning in a practical and supportive environment, be on vacation in the most beautiful surroundings, and get the chance to make new friends.
